We are pleased to announce that we will be making a fairly local move this month.  We have simply outgrown the apartment we are in.  We have found a house to rent a few towns away which means more space for us and the animals.  Of course, during this transition it is taking us a bit longer to keep in contact with everyone.  Please bear with us during this change. Once we are settled we will be able to once again focus on getting updates done on the website.  These updates will include the projects pictures and updated availability pages.  We have some eggs that should be hatching in about 2-3 weeks, so that is some news to look forward to as well.

We will be updating the site with new breeder pics to let everyone see the projects that we are working on.  This year should be a great year for us at Retribution Reptiles.  We will be doing shipments to every HAMM show and working on trying to produce the best examples of the morphs we work with.

This will expand our collection into many new and exciting directions. We will be working with proving out 1-2 possible new genetic traits after obtaining this collection.  Again I would like to give many thanks to Chris and Kendra Smith for being such great friends.  

We will be driving down to S. Carolina after the new year and staying a couple nights, then we will be bringing back the entire collection.  This is not just a simple purchasing the geckos we will be purchasing EVERY thing he has. From racks to geckos to incubators.  I'm very excited for this to happen not only to help expand the business but to meet a very dear friend for the first time. This will also be the first time we will get to see his beautiful baby girl Willow.

As the title suggests, we now have the ability to process and ship orders to the Hamm Reptile Expo in Germany. We are very proud to be able to offer some of the best to the rest of the world. If you see something that you like or even if there is something you don't see, please let us know. We'll be more than happy to take pics if we have it or ask some friends to see if they have what you are looking for.

We had a great showing and everyone loved the new logo for Retribution Reptiles.  We are planning very soon to have some shirts made so we can sell them to whomever would like to own one.  We are also going to be working on a HUGE update on the site after we figure out what has been sold.

We are officially sold out of Pictus at this current point in time.  Apparently we were the only vendor to have them at our table and they were a HUGE hit.

First the bad news.  We were unable to get a table for the September show in Cleveland.  If you saw something of interest in August, please feel free to contact us.

Now the good news!  We are now able to accepts payments via VISA, Mastercard and Discover.  We hope this will make payments easier for some customers.  Again, please contact us if you have any questions.

We will be talking projects, selecting high quality breeders, as well as other topics dealing with Pictus and pricing.  It should be an awesome show.  Last month they had Paul Allen with Bright Albino and it's really going to be hard to follow him but I'm up for the challenge.

Well we are going into 3rd week of March and things are going as expected.   Females digging, laying, not eating LOL. Tis the life of a gecko I guess. We have bred roughly 1/2 of the females we planned on breeding this year so that is a possitive note.  I think we are sitting at about 8 clutches in the bator. We didn't get our season started until early/mid February though.  We have had 7 Pictus babies hatch out which we are very happy for.

On the big news front we did pick up a pretty big group of Pictus from our good friend Chris Smith at Palmetto Gecko.  In that we aquired some Snows, very nice Reds, a couple Xanthic, a Three stripe, and a possible Axanthic.  We will be really working hard to figure out more of the genetics of these little guys and gals.  Let's hope we can push some of these morphs to the forefront and really get some intrest in them.

Well I know we just went live a few days ago but we have updated our available pages a little bit.  We have also updated a few project page pics.  But that's just chump change in comparison to what happened tonight.  We have finally gotten our first clutch of leo eggs for the 2010 season.  They are from a Lavender Bold Stripe Bell x Bold Stripe het Bell (50% R2).  This is a very exciting pairing for us this year. This is the females first year so let's hope she has a very productive one.

On a more somber note we did have one of our P.Pictus geckos pass away the other night. We are unsure of what caused this but it was bitter sweet because last night we got 2 more hatchlings come out last night.  We got 1 banded and 1 striped, both are 66% het xanthic.  Unfortunatly the odds were not in our favor for this clutch to get that Xanthic.
